In an anticipated event, the Nigerian Association of Insurance and Pension Editors (NAIPE) has unveiled plans for its 8th annual national conference, aimed at delving into the crucial role of the insurance and pension sectors in driving sustainable economic growth under the country’s new government. With a focus on the theme “Role of insurance and pension sectors in building sustainable economic growth under the new government,” the conference will bring together esteemed chieftains in the industry to explore innovative strategies and opportunities.

At the forefront of this intellectual gathering is the distinguished Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of APT Securities and Funds Limited, Mallam Kasim Kurfi, who has been appointed as the keynote speaker. Renowned for his expertise and insights, Kurfi is expected to provide valuable perspectives on the nexus between insurance, pension, and economic prosperity.

Joining Kurfi on the panel are several luminaries from the sector, including Mr. Eddie Efekoha, President of the West African Insurance Companies Association and Group Managing Director of Consolidated Hallmark Insurance, and Mr. Olumide Oyetan, President of the Pension Fund Operators Association of Nigeria. Alongside them will be Mr. Shola Tinubu, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Scib Insurance Brokers, and Ms. Prisca Soares, former Secretary General of the African Insurance Organisation.
