The Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) has announced the suspension of pension payments to retirees under the Defined Benefit Scheme (DBS) who failed to confirm their aliveness on their due date.

In a statement released on May 6, 2024, PTAD informed affected pensioners that they will be restored to the pension payroll for payment in the next payroll cycle, along with arrears for every month/payment cycle missed, once they confirm their aliveness after their due date.

The affected pensioners have been advised to check the pension department lists below and log on to https://iamalive.ptad.gov.ng/ to start the confirmation process using the facial confirmation option.

You can check if you are affected in the links provided below:

  1. List of Civil Service Pensioners (CSPD) yet to do the I Am Alive Confirmation
  2. List of Customs, Immigration and Prisons Pensioners (CIPPD) yet to do the I Am Alive Confirmation
  3. List of Parastatals Pensioners (PaPD) yet to do the I Am Alive Confirmation
  4. List of Police Pensioners (PPD) yet to do the I Am Alive Confirmation

Pensioners with complaints can send an email to iamalivesupport@ptad.gov.ng with details.

    WARNING:

PTAD has warned pensioners to beware of fraudsters, as it will never request BVN, ATM Card details, ATM Card PIN for “I Am Alive” confirmation or cash to process pension payments. Suspicious phone calls or messages can be reported to monitoring@ptad.gov.ng.
